Well, it's be a minute since I posted. It was like I joined and then ghosted. Last year, I stupidly broke my 200 tdi while on vacation. Always check your fluids kids!! The decision was made to rebuild the engine myself rather then pay upwards of 12-15k for a new or rebuilt engine. As a result, I have a learned a ton about my engine and truck. I know what's what, why it's there and how it works (mostly).

The engine got a full rebuild kit, new pistons, rings, crankshaft, fuel pump, water pump, radiator, allisport intercooler and heater matrix, plus paint all around. As of 2 days ago, she is up and running! It's taken about a year to do the rebuild with all of it outside, since I've been converting our garage too. The biggest help of all was my friend Doug, who was willing to help me and teach all along the way of the rebuild. There was no way I could do it myself. There are still a few things to do, fix a couple of leaks, get the grill, lights and bumper back on.

Anyway, here are few of the befores and afters. Glad to be back
