Adding a place in the app

A few days ago, I added a camping area at a local lake while I was on-site. I did not have cell service when I filled out the form. When I submitted it I got a message acknowledging that I did not have a data connection and that the information would be submitted once I did have service again. The information that I provided still has not shown up on the map. (This was actually my third time trying to submit a new campsite area from this particular lake.) I am wondering if the submission got lost on my drive back to my house. I have a few spots on the peaks off hills were I often get a data connection for a few seconds. If the app started to submit the data it very easily could have been cut off before the submission completed. Is it possible that the data is getting marked as sent when the transmission begins and not once it has been verified complete by the server(s)?
