Hello OB world!

This is my first thread, and after carefully looking at all my options this seemed to be the best place to start it. I have a 2016 4Runner with a 3" ICON lift, and I wanted to move to a 36" tire, but am unsure how to "shave" the front and rear of the wheel well in order to accommodate the larger tire.

I was hoping someone could point me to a resource?

Thanks!

Have you checked out Toyota-4Runner.org? It should have something, if not, someone might have an idea of how to do it. I'm sure there are a few that have modified 5th gens to fit 35+ tires. Hope that helps! Good luck with your build! Also, if you haven't thought of it yet, if you are going that large, you should probably consider re-gearing.

@Daniel Etter Thanks! I have been on that forum ever since - a huge repository of information, almost overwhelming. I am definitely including the re-gearing into my consideration for 36" tires - will probably be another few months before I pull the trigger.
