Next WE it's happening the 4x4Fest which is the biggest 4x4 expo in italy.
Aside from the actual expo with new products, services, etc... there are some interesting tours that are available almost exclusively during this Expo.
The most characteristic one is the White Marble tour that lets you drive inside the world renown Carrara marble quarries.
I'll be there from Friday evening (time to get out of work, buy some groceries and drive for 3 hrs), and I'll be staying at the Sarzana Offroad track for 2 nights.
