The wife and I are headed west from sunny (and already hot) Florida. Our trip will take us to Denver, Co. to see some family and then we plan to spend some time exploring the Ouray, telluride, Silverton area.
From there it’s over to Moab for some exploring of the canyon lands and arches. Plan to hit the white rim trail if possible. Will be base camping in the pop up trailer but bringing the bed tent and all supplies for extended stays out in the canyons.
Then on down to the Grand Canyon for the typical tourist sites. The route home is yet to be determined, just gonna wing that mother as we go. I find it’s the best way to travel and explore.
We’re leaving on this trip June 11th or so. Anyone with any tips on must see or can’t miss things in these areas, please chime in.
