Hey OB.

Just got into a set of 32X11.5x15 STT pros and I am wondering what people are running for PSI in their 32's. Not on the air game yet, so trying to find the sweet spot for DD duty and minor excursions.

I'm down at 32PSI trying to get a good contact patch currently. Mounted on sr5 rims that I believe are 7" wide. Feel free to comment on your experience or thoughts.

Cheers

32 to 34 psi is pretty much standard. That’s what I run with my 31s. Nice 2nd gen 4Runner by the way.

best way to figure out optimal road contact psi is baby powder and a smooth flat surface
I did this (but with tire chalk) and found the ideal tire PSI on my Escape was 30.

Those mountains in the background make me miss AK. Near Hatchers Pass?
Yeah same area!

Still on the path to contact but I think I am getting close. Hanging around 25psi now and judging by road dirt on the tire I might have it. Thanks for all the replies.

In the end found the optimal PSI for 32x11.5 tires on 7" wide rims was 24.5 front, 20 rear. Not ideal. Upgraded to 33x10.5 - now running 35-32 F/R PSI.
