Do any of you have experience with extruded aluminum T slot? I want to build a light weight bed frame for my truck bed. I have a 6.5’ bed so there is plenty of room. I will make a top out of 1/2” plywood with a 1”x3” poplar surround with soft edges to hold the pad in place. The reason for this height is that it will allow me to store existing my aluboxes under the bed.
The idea is to make the frame out of 30mm T slot using 6 legs and lots of braces. See photo for details. What are your thoughts and suggestions?
