Pathfinder III
Plans for rear drawer system. Fits 2nd gen 4runners, tested and installed on 1995.
40" drawers, fully loaded and fully extended can hold 200lbs.
Made from 1" (supports), 3/4 (top) and 1/2 plywood (drawer boxes). This is just the scrap i had to work with..
Separate tray on top slides forward and snaps in, creating a large sleeping platform.
Made with doors on top so you can access drawer contents without having to slide open the drawer. Doors were specified for my layout, incase you were wondering about the odd shapes..
Ratchet track on one side helps the drawer stay open.
While it is possible to make with standard tooling, I suggest cutting parts on a cnc for accuracy and speed.
Installs into existing bolt locations. Install requires removal of the rear carpet. Stands 6" tall.
