I am selling my 2024 rubicon x with just 36000 miles, I have out over 40,000( in parts. not labor) into it because was planning on doing a lot of solo overlanding to places where the Toyota and small pickups can't. The truck is very well built. Starting with t the x platform it has full floating heavy duty dana 44, steel knuckles, winch rock-slider running boards, heater heater seats, heated steering wheel, led lights cross traffic safety package front and rear trail cameras, and the sky once touch top which is off it right now. factory steel front bumper. red has been replaced with AEV. I have the front bumper as well as all other parts.
Now for the aftermarket stuff. All professionally installed.
Meta cloak. 2.5 inch game changer lift , synergy springs, fox 2.0. remote reservoir shocks, ( with alternate Metal cloak 2.5 inch shocks and metal cloak springs.)
Full metal cloak Skid plates with from and rear differential skid plates
Mickey Thompson Baja. AT in 37x12 with less than 5000 miles on them. mounted on Method inner lip. bronze. wheels. ( 5)
lights. 2 (7inch suparee high low beam off road lights) amber or clear lens
2 5 inch aux beam. high low lights
4 inch baja design. quad light cowl mounted,
quake rejection light. have been installed where the. fake hood vents were
and quadratic. ditch lights.
WHY all those lights, well if you have been running late, looking for a remote campsite you will understand.
Inside and the top , he sky one touch top. is off it right now stored in my garage ( 1 person job I did it may self I am 72)
On it is the vlife camper top which is a wedge shaped top that you can access from the inside. IT is very low profile, less than. 2 inches taller than stock. and less than 100 kilos more in added weight, it also has a 270 degree lighted awning. Never been slept in. It also has top window. heater vents, and rack. all part of the top
Inside: dash vector dash bar with numerous mounts and a wolf box dash cam that has front and her cameras also. numerous little storage boxes
Cargo dog rear seat delete ( I have the back seats)
Outside:
brand new AEV bumper/tire carrier/ Fuel caddy 10 gallons
door mounted extra gas cans. 2 .5 gallons each
Together they give you. almost 3/4 tank. of additional fuel.
Side mounted ARB jack holder and jack.
As you can tell this jeep is designed and built to go where others can't and do it easily. At 72 I did not want alone out and get stranded because. I ran out of fuel or broke down.
So capability , protection and range were my thought when building it.
BUT. life throws changes at you. Total knee replacement and wife who is sick, so no multi-day. fly fishing and camping trips. I can't leave her alone.
In summary the basic Jeep has a KBB of 40-45K I was offered 45 on a trade in by a dealer.
at least 40 k in hard parts not counting labor and about 2 years build time.
As the say time is money. So Go while you can. Don't get stuck like me. Waiting
