2018 Jeep Rubicon Jl

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

We recently purchased a JLRU. So far ,aftermarket parts are slow hitting the market. We plan on some serious overlanding in the future so I want it to be very capable! So far I have installed a front bumper with winch and some PIAA lights, just ordered a roof lightbar . I also have a trailer being built to carry our gear and rooftop tent.

What made you decide on the aftermarket front bumper, as opposed to the factory steel bumpers (think they are an option). From what I have seen, you can install a winch on the factory steel bumpers with a mounting plate.
