Hello all-

So this will be my first build thread for my truck. I am actually looking for suggestions on racks for my truck bed to add a tent to it and drawers for my truck bed.

This is proving to be more difficult than I thought. I am also not as handy and crafty as most of you are.

I wish I could keep my bed cover but I know I am going to either need remove it or find another option.

I am looking for suggestions on:

• roof racks (above my truck bed)
• drawers for my truck bed
• roof top tents

I think most people go with Decked drawers.

Depending on your location in NorCal you can pick up a Tepui RTT in Soquel or from REI and save on shipping. I've been very happy with mine. It's similar to CVT tents and some others. Here's a review I wrote about it.

I don't know about racks for the full size GM trucks but we have plenty of fabricators in NorCal if you'd rather do something custom.
