Hello everyone, For those of you who don't know me Im Chris. Fairly new to the overland world. I recently bought a 2017 4Runner SR5P. This will be a thread for my SLOW build and the adventures I go on.

Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

First thing I did was swap out my stock wheels with a set of stock of OEM trail wheels. I them took it on a road trip from Denver to Monument Valley. Ventured up to Moab and them back to Denver.

Installed my emblem on the passenger side of my rear hatch after my trip from Denver up to Park City.

Finally got around to mounting my iPad. I used a combination of ram mounts and a ProClip device made for the 4Runner. The mount is very sturdy and doesn’t get in the way of the gear selector.

Hmmmmm.... looks like another add to my wish list.The stock lighting on the 4Runner is pretty bad. Today I upgraded them with a Xenondepot H11 HID kit. Great improvement and highly recommended.

Is this a seat bolt attached mount?

I used a mount from ProClips. It just clips onto the side of the center console. It’s more secure than I thought it would be. It has some 3m tape on the bottom that helps it stick so no drilling. Then I mounted a 1in ram mounts ball to it.
