Started sleeping in my Jeep when I traveled a couple years ago and found i really enjoyed it! I’ve been tweaking things as I go along ever since. Here’s a pic of where I’m at with my Build.

Looks like a lot of fun. Do you typically pick a random destination for vacation and just sleep in your jeep, or do you visit people that require traveling over night? I'd like to get into traveling in my jeep for a fixed (short) period of time.

I don’t make reservations when I travel. I just decide to go. In October I drove cross country to Acadia NP to spend autumn in Maine. I was gone for about 3 weeks. The National parks are my favorite destinations. I was able to stay at 6 NP’s total during that trip.

Nice setup! How do you like the tent? Looks like it would be much better for gas mileage then having the normal roof top tent up there!

When I’m driving I don’t even know it’s there. Easy set up and take down. I’m very happy with it.
