Hello folks,

Thought I'd start a build thread for my P38 Range Rover.

Specs:
Year: 2001
Make: Land Rover
Model: Range Rover P38 30th Anniversary Edition (only 300 made in US).
4.6L Thor V8.
AWD with traction control and a low gear box.

-Voyager Off-road Contractor Roof Rack
-Scot Seat Direct Bench seat for rear (adding 2 more seats).
-Uniden Pro520XL CB radio
-3" lift from Atlantic British.
-28" General Grabber AT2s. (wanting BFGoodrich Ko2 in 32")

That's it for now. Two pics, one before and one after lift.

Update! After about a month of on and off work, I've finished the head gasket job. Had a couple hiccups, but have gotten those taken care of. Still has an exhaust leak (from before head gasket job) and I'm currently looking to get it repaired. More updates to come. IMG_20191005_135229.jpeg

Sweet rig! I just picked up a 2002 Disco II. About to get started on building it up. How was the head gasket replacement project? Did you run into any difficulty? I need to do the same.
Mine was pretty easy. Broke a few sockets. If you need any guidance or help, feel free to PM me.

Don't know. Maybe 35s?
I doubt it. I have a 2" lift on my LRD2 and my new 265/75r/16's will not fit with the stock bumper valence without trimmimng. My tire is 31.7". I don't think there is that much diff between the two LR models.

You might be right. The RRs have a good bit of clearance. Maybe they're 32s. The owner did do some trimming on the front bumper. Definitely bigger than 27s.

Because I have 1" wheel spacers may be why I have a little contact when turning and hitting a bump at the same time. I also have a tread width that is wider than the normal A/T tire by about an inch. Looking at your friends rig I need to chop off everything below the black part of his bumper, meaning I lose the lights in that lower portion of the valence.

Well, a Disco is a little different. Have you looked at the steel bumper options?

I have designed my own bumper and waiting on my welder to build it. It wont weigh the 200 pounds most after market bumpers weigh.
