Hey guys,
This is our new disco 2 we just picked up.
Here’s a list of what we will be doing as of now.

1. 2in lift
2. Off road tires
3. New front and rear bumpers ( if anyone has good cad drawings I’d love to see them.)
4. Custom roof rack
5. Roof top tent.
6. Custom pull out camping system.

There are a few other little things that play into each of these but you get the idea for the most part.

Looks like a good clean rover! You've got some good plans laid out. One thing I would add is the center diff lock for sure!
Can't wait to see you build this thing up!

These are an Atlantic British bumpers I know you have do some modification on the front grill to mount them, actually they have a video of how to install on their website (roverparts.com) I’m thinking of getting an ARB.

Yeah the arb do look nice. If I did get this one I’d still want to add a brush guard.

As a 2000 DII you might still have the center locking nipple on the transfer case making that modification super easy. That would be the first mod i would do.

I have got the 2in lift in and new tires. Haven’t installed yet just due to time restraints. I am however forced to replace the throttle body heater plate and gaskets. Due to loosing fluid. She never ran hot but I’m not taking any chances and while it’s such a nice day I’m taking advantage of it.

Not yet. I have a full gasket kit at the house I’ll probably do it after Christmas
I did mine last week and as I was putting it back together, I looked down thru the valley of the block and saw that the #4 can bearing had walked out.
sooooo, I proceeded to dissemble the remainder of the engine to install new cam bearings only to find upon removal that the cam had a wiped lobe, and all the other cam bearings were toast.
Well, as of an hour ago, the engine is on a stand with further disassembly of the bottom end for crank and rod bearings. I can't say that I didn't expect all of this to be wrong with the engine.

Merry Christmas to me!:rage::rage::disrelieved::disrelieved:
