1997 80 Series Driver side Mirror what to do?

The 80 Series Drivers side mirror has several weak links. Two key holes that when stressed will snap off the 90º key hole. 2nd is the one screw tightening nut. I would try to salvage the mirror backing but part of the rubber boot is worn and the two issues.
Key hole is and the tightening the nut holding portion is broken as well. Suggestions or appreciated.

I used these on mine Mirror Fix
It reinforces the broken area.
Another weak area is the hinge. I moded mine with a nut/bolt.
