First modification was a must, new headlight housings and bulbs.
Decided to go with Rampage H4 MSR housings. The difference is worth every penny.

Next modification was window tint done by a local tint shop. Huge difference in the South Carolina heat!

That's a beautiful XJ. I'm a pickup guy so far but I've been seriously considering a few used XJ's in my area. There are even some build ones that are very affordable. I'll try to keep tabs on your build [emoji106]

Picked up a later model headliner with the built in speaker bar from a 1998.
Finished the headliner and overhead console with factory color grey headliner material.

Thank you, the hardest part was probably the overhead console and around the speakers.
I ended up not having to do the overhead console.But I agree the rear speakers was the tricky part for me also.

Awesome, I love the xjs. I have 3 of them. I have seen some people bedline theirs, I like the look. I noticed a difference with the reflectix with heat transfer.

Picked up a donor for my build with this Dana 44. Spiders, ring and pinion look good. Gear ratio matches my current diff. I am not sure if I am going to swap before I regear or not

Just updated my lighting to led today. I saw where another fellow overlander did the same to his xj today. What a huge difference, I replaced the bulbs under the shifters too.
