Hey everyone, I just joined and thought I’d share my ride, a 1980 Toyota short bed 4x4 pickup. It is still basically stock, and only has about 75000 Miles. It started as a work truck at a summer camp in Idyllwild California, hence the low miles. I haven’t done much yet, but plan on a 3 inch lift to clear 33s, and a spate tire/jerry can carrier. Also a 5 speed swap, it has the original 4 speed knit now. I’ve had some good trips in this truck, Death Valley, the Mojave Preserve, and most recently to Arizona. Here are some pics!

Pic2: desert camp off Route 66 east of Ambon, CA
Pic3: Bee Canyon road
Pic4: the Mojave Road mailbox
Pic5: Route 66 near Amboy, CA
Pic6: the desert off I10 east of Indio, Ca
More to come!

My mods so far:
Garage sale KC lights!
Rear bumper my dad made that has been on at least 3 different trucks!
And a new old camper shell from Craigslist!
I’m going for the classic look with this truck in case you couldn’t tell
