I am asking cause the turbo on my 2015 Ram 2500 Cummins Crew cab 4x4 in starting to fail. It's a fairly common issue due to the VGT design.
So, the fix is to make it better, parts are on the way, thats all I will say about that!
So i wanted to know where I was at so I would have a baseline to compare to.
Running a 80hp emission compliant tune, loaded overland ready, on 35s I made 3 runs on a flat road.
1. Rolling start (10mph) to 60 mph = 8.7 sec
2. Stopped, 0 mph to 60 mph = 9.3 sec (lost traction and ecm cut fuel for a split second)
3. Stopped, 0 mph to 60 mph = 8.8 sec (turned off traction control)
Not being competitive at all, just curious as to how the average overland rig stands when it comes to putting power down when needed.
