Edmonton to the Cardinal Divide Viewpoint

Very nice. Looks like you had a lovely trip. That’s how I like to see those grizzlies. Moving briskly away from me. Lol

    Anyone from the Edmonton Area?

I like how you think. I’ve often thought that an exploratory trip through the coal valley (cadomin, mountain park etc) identifying the abandoned towns would be cool.

    Anyone from the Edmonton Area?

I haven’t seen one specifically for Edmonton. They usually use a larger geographic area. I’m sure finding a group that likes exploring can’t be hard in these parts. That’s usually why we’re here. [emoji16] Any particular area that you’d like to give a whirl exploring?

    Anyone from the Edmonton Area?

I’ve never been out with the group no. I think a few trips have been planned though. I just haven’t made one yet.

    Anyone from the Edmonton Area?

A few of us yep. We get together once in a while for coffee but it’s been a while. Nice looking Colorado there. Look for my rig “Clifford” and wave. [emoji846]

Favorite trail for Full Size Rigs....

Kakwa falls western AB. A little bit of water, some hills, and some awesome scenery. Or whipsaw trail in BC. Very full size friendly.

    Any TJ guys out there?

I use a 2005 TJ unlimited (LJ) and thoroughly enjoy it. Your price goals sound reasonable to me, but it’ll depend on where you’re at I suppose. Have a look at my build in the signature if you want.

Favorite truck bed setups with no topper?

Maybe these photos illustrate what I mean.

Favorite truck bed setups with no topper?

Gotcha. Running the length of the truck bed on top of the cover are 2 - 2" square hollow steel tubing that slide into some square brackets and are secured with clevis pins. Then the tent has 3 - 1" square hollow aluminum tubing that are permanently mounted to the tent. When I lower the tent...

    US Northwest WTB Gobi Rack!!

Yeah. I hear ya. Completely legit. I was kind of wondering how I could make a person feel comfortable with it and haven’t come up with a plan yet. Lol In the photo there’s a card. You could call the guy at Gobi, mention that you have the certificate and ask how best to use it. If he says you’re...

Heavy for sure. And the hauling capacity is several hundred pounds for all the mass they’re pulling.
