Adding an Awning beside a RTT?

This is a great idea! I could build this to detach from the side and mount on the rear for coverage over the cooking area in the rear.

Adding an Awning beside a RTT?

That sounds a bit like what I’m trying to accomplish, I was hoping someone would chime in with a pic or 2 of something like this. I will be making the brackets from scratch so then can be what ever they need to be, just hoping to see someone else solution to the problem.

Adding an Awning beside a RTT?

Nice rig! Your awning set up is not practical for me because of my low profile load bars and I wouldn’t be able to stand up under it. I had considered the zipper issue you brought up, and figure I could mount it in such a way the RTT cover could be zipped up from under the awning.

Adding an Awning beside a RTT?

I’ve ordered an ARB 2500mm awning to go with my Tepui Kukanam XL Ruggedized RTT on my taco. Question for the members: any advice on how to avoid interference with the rain fly poles on the RTT? My tent is on homemade load bars which are only 3” tall so it sits low on the roof. I’m pretty tall...

    Land Cruiser Owners Registry

Thanks! It is the summit of mount Hammel in the Rocky Mountains north of Grande Cache Alberta. Not super big compared to other areas of the Rockies but its open to OHV and there are lots of good trails for jeep sized rigs.

    Raptor Liner

I have used this in my FJ40 restomod. It is a great product, very hard once cured. There gun works great, a regulator is a must! The gun cranks out a lot of cfm too so a home depot 2-3 cfm compressor isn’t enough. I found you don’t have than much time once you mix and start because it is...

    Alaska Trip

YK/AK Border to Old Denali Highway to Telkeetna I will apologize in advance for the gaps in the pics, it seems we didn’t take much for photos durning these next 2 long km road days. After exploring some old mining access roads for a few hours we found the end of Top of the World Highway (which...

Yes you should go.... whether it be to just see the sights, fish, hike or wheel the skag/mountain trails, there are tons of things to do, no matter what you are into. We will be going back again in the coming years to do the things we missed and spend more time in certain areas. I will update...

    Alaska Trip

I thought I would share some of the highlights of my families trip through Alaska last summer (2015). Each summer we go to Dawson City Yukon to visit family, but on this year we decided to take an extra week and drive through Alaska. Here is a brief outline of the trip: The trip ‘started’ at...
