    Whoa FCC ? Can't finish

To work, no, to work legally, yes. While you may be correct in assuming many folks operate without the proper licensing, the real question would be why? It is not difficult, or complicated to run legal, so why not take a minute or two and comply? Following the rules may seem trivial, but it...

    Whoa FCC ? Can't finish

If you have your FRN, then for the GMRS license, you can get it online. I had mine issued back in 2020, and i got my call sign issued in a couple hours. It did take several more hours to dig around the FCC site to find out where to download my “Official” copy to print. Now with my ham license...

Agreed, I might be able to answer questions as well. I have had my GMRS license for more than a year, and as of yesterday I passed my Ham Technician! So I am joining the Ham club now too.

    Nitto Ridge Grapplers LT285/70 R17

I run the Nitto Trailgrapplers 285/70 R18, and love them! On my JLU they handle like a dream. I have had them in sand, snow, mud, and most things in between. Been running them for the last 40k KM and they hold up well.

How to turned my jeep into a camper

If you have an “unlimited” jeep (4-door); you should have space for a platform. With the seats pushed forward for the night we comfortably sleep 2. I use a cooler instead of a fridge (that is a future upgrade), just move it out for the night. We have done as long as 4 nights with this setup, and...

    First time camping in Sedona!

We spent last Christmas overlanding in several great spots from Mt Lemon in Tucson through Table Mesa in Phoenix, then Sedona and Schnebly Hill and winding up at the Grand Canyon! These were all spectacular areas, especially in the winter time!

    Airing down E load tires.

I run a set of Nitto’s (E rated MTs) on my Wrangler and normally run about 38-40 on highway, and 18 off pavement. I do not get excessive heat and the tires wear extremely well. For the best tire pressures to run on pavement you should use the chalk method to find the sweet spot. For off road...
