    Camp toilet and tent

I have yet to actually test one out but I like the style of the Reliance model. Only place I've been able to find it is Target. But I like that it can pull double duty as a stool  (so many puns). Also much more friendly in terms of space in that it can fold up...

    Central Texas - Woohoo

Thanks for the info. I've been lurking on the forums, being noncommittal at this point. I really need to get a CB so it's easier to coordinate these meets. I am so beyond my budget for this month I really have nothing left in the tank for fun off road excursions. Unexpected, big purchases will...

Yeah, thanks. I did some digging and found it. The TW forums are chaotic sometimes and I don't often check the Austin thread. Suppose I should though. Way more active the "San Antonio" one.

    Greetings from Norway!

Velkommen! Visiting Norway is a top priority for me. My mother is Norwegian decent. Her family emigrated to the US in the 1800s. I'm dying to see where they all came from.

Man, I completely missed that one on TW. I might be able to join for the day. Any idea what time people are meeting up?

    M1102 Overland Trailer

That's impressive. For something that size I'd have to mock it up in sketch up.

    What is your rigs name

"Tacor." A mashup of Tacoma and Trogdor (Homestar Runner). Previously I owned a Juke and had a custom license plates that read, "HAJUKN" Gamers loved it. Got a lot of compliments. Tacor might be a bit of a stretch tho... The GPS is named, Janice.

    Overland Safety: First-Aid Kits

REI has a good resource for items to consider in your FA kit. Pre-built ones aren't necessarily bad but I generally find them to be fairly overpriced and don't quite cover the components that I'm looking for. Often, they're short on one item or another or include things that may not apply...

Hi, I'm Ben. I'm new to overlanding but have been an avid camper/hiker/backpacker since my younger days. Grew up in Boulder, CO and now reside with my wife and a couple kiddos outside San Antonio, TX. Picked up a 2017 TRD a couple months ago and fully intend to justify it by getting out as much...

    Surviving Camping with Toddlers

It's always gonna be situational, right. Took my 4-year-old out on his first camping trip a couple weeks ago. We had done one practice run in the backyard prior, which was actually harder. But in my case the key was to just roll with it. I find that when in camping I'm less inclined to stay up...
