Have an automatic so until it dies and I swap for a 6 speed the tuner is about as far as I am Going to push it with the weak transmission. They are great trucks though and nice that you know what it’s been through.

My friend has carli with no rub on 35s but he also got the extended control arms I believe. Rides really nice though! 2nd Gen Suspension Steering 94-01 I’m looking at this company as well... they have a great 4 link rear setup that I want to get.

I will check it out when I'm off work and let you know.

It's interesting because it's stock 35's but they rub on the control arms... It does have up to a 4in. lift though, so I imagine it's just from the front axle moving back. Either way, when I get a decent suspension I will have the front axle adjusted to be centered.

My second Gen came stock with '35s apparently. That is what my wheel called for.

I don't think they do actually... Mine isn't the sport package though, just has a short bed. "Devil Dodge" has the sport V10

Can only imagine with the type of weather you get back East. Nice looking truck though! I want to drop a 6 speed into mine but that'll happen later in life I suppose. Love my truck also, just expensive to work on. Some days that 1st gen 4runner just sounds good, but I'm always back and forth.

Sounds like a plan. Love carli suspension. Friend has a 3rd gen with carli and it rides great! Lockers, bumper and a wench would be a good start for me - already running 35s on mine. One day I want to get a trailer when I have a kid or two, but definitely want to get more utility out of my bed...

Crafty and clever, I like it. The truck came with a four inch lift on it but it’s not very functional (not much travel). Clearance is good but flex... could be better in the front - sure the rear would do alright once I replace the shocks. Love where you got your stuff and how you did it though...

Very wise response. The motor and torque are good, gas mileage is pretty decent and you can definitely sleep in the back and across the front seat haha. Just might have to be patient I reckon and be more willing to spend the time. Very good advice, thank you! Happy new year!

I dig the camper setup as well. I debate between doing a shell, either soft or hard, or Between putting in a cage with rooftop tent.
