Alright, made it back from Mexico. I plan on leaving San Jose at 8:00 AM, anyone from the Bay Area still trekking down tomorrow morning? I figure we can be at the In-and-Out by 11:30 if we leave then. Are we still planning to be on GMRS 14.4? Or Ham at 146.46?

Michael - Is there a way for the alert emails that come to my email to include the post? Sometimes it is easier to read the post in email, rather than to log into the site to see the followed thread.

I would think that should be good enough, especially if you're with a group. The point of the flag is to enhance visibility so others can see you over dunes.

@slorob should know the area and place to camp. Is the river flowing? I like to do the fence run, but not sure I could manage that in my Jeep. There is usually a vendor on the beach that sells flags. I might even have an extra one - I'll have to check the garage. I have an extra FRS...

@maktruk - what time are you going to head down there? Maybe we can caravan? I'm in San Jose, was planning on leaving by 9:00 am on Saturday.

Installed my Southern Style Offroad slim-line bumper with Baja Designs 20" driving lights and Smittybilt X20 winch today. Next step is to hook up the lights and winch, then install the ARB dual air compressor.
