Ideally this rig will be a dedicated camping/ adventure vehicle. We're exploring the Talladega national forest this season. We are planning to tackle the Georgia traverse before it gets to hot this spring. So far we've stayed out 3 days and nights in the NF just driving and camping.

If making one is a option you can buy a kit for the swing out spare tire holder. When I get done playing with the front bumper in makymy own back bumper with tire carrier. I'll post up the link for the tire carrier if that's allowed...

I'm building a 2004 z71. I picked it up for 2500.00 now I'm waiting for the lift to come in. I've already got new wheels and 35s . My son and I fabbed a front bumper but I'll probably change it.

That's a huge list of stuff you've added . Thanks for all the links . I'm about to start beefing up a Tahoe just as soon as we finish up a few things on my son's square body. I'll definitely be following this build .
