Well said and thank you. I appreciate the super rigs and good for them but the adventure belongs to the adventurist and not just the investors. And it's all still a challenge.
I also own a Boreas XT and couldn't agree more with the comments about personal customer support from the company owner, Matt. This trailer is as rugged as they come. The XT is truly 4 seasons with the caveat that one lives "outdoors" and sleeps comfortably "indoors". We opted to skip the AC...
I'm assuming that's an Into the "Wild" Boreas trlr and not some new, different model. I love mine and if living outdoors and sleeping in doors (four seasons) is your ambition the Boreas is a doable. Pandos I can't speak to but you won't get any better customer support than Boreas and it's...
Thanks for the replies. Best I can tell, I have two member numbers, no "banner" saying I am a member, and no "hit" when I search for self as a member, no presence on the member map. If that is nominal then I am concerned about the integrity of the site more than I am about my status.
I've paid my fees, have my member "badge" and number #18110 and can obviously post. But don't show as a member on my profile nor on the member amp. I've been a FNG before. Do I have to eat a toad or something to pass initiation? Help!
I appreciate all the feedback and comments. Confirms most of my conclusions actually. I have a F150, stock, locking rear, with Hankook AT 33" tires (Same as originals), pulling a Boreas XT trailer. Not looking for gnarly challenges. Mud is the big barrier here in the SE so I think my only mod...
How about some discussion, or a YouTube, about overlanding in a stock 4X4? Seems most info is about mod rigs as if to say one can't go overlanding to adventure in a stock vehicle. It seems that the manufacturers of 4X4's wouldn't agree given that they have invested no small amount of effort in...
Hi everyone. Located MS gulf Coast with a Ford F150 and Boreas XT. Lived/cruised 5 years on sailboat and looking to "dirt cruise". Just finished the Cumberland Trace and now looking at SE or Arkansas for more overland experience for myself, wife and adventurous Golden Retriever.
Hello. Just introducing myself and looking for other, immediate area overlanders. My wife and I are experienced campers. Just upgraded to a Boreas XT camper trailer along with my Ford 150 4X4. Maiden trip up and back on the Natchez Trace. Great trip
