Welcome. Dave here from Sierra Vista Az. Got a 2000 ambulance camper conversion, 7.3 four 4x4. I've do a lot of site seeing national parks and such. Would rather boon dock than camp grounds.

Look for the higher elevations temps aren't so drastic. I camp at lower altitudes in the winter and high in the mountains in the summer. Where I live in 6 hours I can be on the beach or around 10,000 feet.
