Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion. I now have that drive to the Hoh river visitor center and Obstruction point as well on our way. Both seem like a good drive!
Yeah, it looks like I won't be throwing that up there on the roof rack. I ended up getting 2x Wolf pack from FR to throw some goods in there so we will see how all that fits and iterate from there. Someone asked if there were 4 of us in the car. There will 3 + 1 dog :D haha Thanks again for...
Wow, thank you so much for writing this up! We booked our spot already at the end of Aug :/ which is okay for the first time. It won't be our last that's for sure. I think we are looking to either extend our trip before/after with some friends now that they want to go as well. They had mentioned...
Awesome! I actually looked last night as someone said their Rtic had that slot hole as well. Looks like mine does to! That will be our solution and see how things hold up. Thanks everyone on here! I appreciate the conversation.
Oh interesting! I’ll look those up as well. Thanks for the suggestions. I think I’ll try the strachits and those corner blocks a shot. Hopefully these yetis are as sturdy as they say if it falls off the roof haha!
Interesting okay, I also found some corner chick sets that might help too, I wonder if I could use the front runner chock sets that are made for their wolf packs for the cooler as well. Thanks for sharing!
Hey OB,
So I am not 100% sure where to post this but this seems to be the best location. Feel free to change! My question is, I have a Yeti 45 tundra cooler that my wife got me for Christmas which we love so far. BUT test fitting it in the back of our Cherokee it takes up about half. I thought...
Nice! Okay, will look that up as well. I booked another spot along the coast now since I think we will want to spend more time driving around before we got to our destination.
Haha yeah so true! I remember when we first moved up here we got invited to a brewery and we had asked: "is it kid-friendly?" We got a funny smirk and laugh from them haha. Love it up here!
Awesome okay, Yeah my wife does enjoy wine. We are more beer drinkers though so if anyone has some awesome suggestions on kid-friendly breweries with food trucks or food. That would be great. I have a ton of suggestions up here in the Bothell, WA area if anyone ever needs any :)
I mapped out a route from the most North to the most South of all the suggestions above if anyone was curious. It looks like an awesome adventure we have. Maybe hit some on the way there and then some on the way back home.
Wait, Thor's well and a cheese factory!? This is going to be great! Haha. Awesome I will start noting all these down and looking them up. The safari sounds like a lot of fun thanks for suggesting that! Also thanks for all the suggestions I really appreciate it.
I was looking at the Hoh...
Hey OB,
My wife, daughter (age 7), and I have booked some locations around the PNW to explore/camp. We have a destination campground at each place planned so far but are thinking about either finding/exploring/sightseeing/camping too and from each location. I would love to hear everyone's...
Awesome thanks so much for the advice on that. I will keep all this in mind on the next trip. Also, can I just thank everyone that has been apart of this thread. I really appreciate everyone’s thoughts and help!
Haha! You think? I was liking the Methods for their bead grip tech since there aren’t much wheels in that 5x110 pattern with a 17 size. (At least from my minimal research on Cherokee forums). Realistically I will just wrap these wheels first and for most. Tires are way more important than wheels...
Totally agree. I really want to wrap a new set of Falken wild peaks on some method wheels eventually this year. Was hoping to do it before the Whitefish trip in feb but I think our firestone destination a/t should hold up okay for now. I guess we will see! Haha.
Haha yeah I’ve noticed this. My auto up works on the passenger but not on the driver. Not a huge deal but kind of weird experience at first. Though I do love having air flow while it’s raining like yesterday and tonight.
That's a great idea! Thanks so much, will do that. I am not 100% sure what my rig can do near Moab but I think it would be fun to just go and do some spring driving.
