On the fence - push me over: buy or build a skottle?

I built mine for under $40 and 2 hrs work out of a plow disc. If you can weld or you have a good buddy that can it’s a win. Plus with a disc it’s much more versatile then the Skottle, it can be placed directly on a camp fire.

2020 Trip Planning - Texas to Tuktoyaktuk

Ill second that for two spares and a good tire repair kit, the shale roads can be unforgiving. I would also look at radiator protection and repair as well, we didn’t have issues with either on our trip up but we did have to help others along the way with tire repair and Rad issues. Also look...

Mounting 5lbs propane cylinders with Super Quick Fist clamps

I looked at all the traditional options for 5lb bottles and found that most a crazy over priced. I found with a little modifications a 30 lbs fire extinguisher mount works absolutely perfect and at $40-$50 why not. Simply move the tank restraint down a few inches and rivet it on.

Type II Diabetes, Sleep Apnea (CPAP) and Cholesterol How do you maintain a healthy lifestyle on then Trail

My suggestion would be to try a greens supplement drink, it’s vegetables in powdered from one scoop into water or almond milk will supply you with the nutritional values. But at the end of day eating real is the way to go. Growing up I hated most things green my mom put on my plate, and looking...

I can’t agree more!! The magic pill was a revelation to me. Once I started Keto I dropped 25lbs and feel fantastic with heaps of energy! My friends dad was a bad diabetic, he started eating Keto over 10 years ago and is now totally off diabetes medication!

    Plow Disc Cooking

Well the thing to do is, pack your cooler, load the family or a few friends up and start a mini road trip. Drive around the back roads and stop in on some farms and introduce yourselves, one of them is bound to have a few you can pick up. I’ve done a few times over the years and it’s a lot of fun.
