    DIY Scottle

Heats it up fairly well. Just not as fuel efficient as some of the higher end burners.

    DIY Scottle

Found the disc on eBay and the burner was an ozark trail from Walmart. I made the disc it’s mounted to from some sheet metal and welded the conduit to it.

    Jerry can faucet.

I was able to use the heat shrink tube to cover all the crimped ends also. Good point on the sanitation. Might try running diluted bleach after storage and running some clean water a few time after to clean it. I’ll post it when it do it.

    Jerry can faucet.

I gave Michael’s Jerry can faucet a try. It was a pretty easy project to knock out in less than an hour. Works pretty well. I made the power cord detachable and got a 10’ cord to be able to use it further away if needed. Michael’s video on how to do it can be found on the ON YouTube channel.

    Ammo can propane fire pit

Finished my ammo can propane fire pit. I came across the idea on another overland blog. I used a .50 cal can and added folding legs to raise it off the ground. I also put lava rocks in to help spread out the flames.
