Yeah. It's not super active, but all it takes is for someone to suggest a trail run.

I'm directly across the 202 from you on the north side. Small world.

I'm off Recker, right at the 202.

The CK General Store posted on Facebook that they were going to end up close to two feet of snow by the end of the day. I would think the route through Bumblebee would be cleared by tomorrow. Isn't that the main route in and out?

Oh man! I wish I had the day off.

We were just there on New Year's Day to play in the snow and everything seemed to be open.

I've camped along FR300 a couple times and explored around Knoll Lake. That area is literally an endless grid of forest roads with beautiful scenery. Hundreds of places to camp!

I'm in Northeast Mesa as well, Power and Thomas area. My son and I both have Jeeps and hit Sycamore Creek, Butcher Jones, or Bulldog Canyon at least once a week for off-road therapy. Hit me up if you ever want to hit the trails.

I did it on Memorial Day in a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 2.5" lift and 32s. I made it just fine, but dragged my belly on one big step and had to stack rocks in a couple other places, but it was fine. However, that was before the Monsoon, so it probably changed a little since then.

I'm interested. I'm in Mesa, but don't mind driving.

Looks awesome!! That will be really nice when it's done. You won't have to find a smooth spot on the ground anymore, which I have found to be pretty difficult when tent camping. I live right down the road from you at Power and Thomas in Red Mountain Ranch. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

You can still camp along the road pretty much anywhere above the Vista. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

I'm in the East valley, but I'd probably make the drive if the timing works. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Nope, but I think that's good. I like having a vehicle that people are little surprised by when they see it on the trails. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

    New in Arizona!

I'm in Mesa at Power & Thomas, right at the gateway to some great off-roading at Sycamore Creek, the Rolls, Bulldog Canyon, and Four Peaks. My son and I go out a lot for short little trips, but we have been meaning to do some camping out there as well. You aren't too far from us at all. Sent...

Sorry brother. I should have let you answer that. I was too eager to be distracted by thoughts of wheeling instead of doing work! [emoji12] Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
