I built one similar to the plans linked above back in 2013. I have used it about a dozen times and it has been great. Keeps everything well organized and gives you a great surface to work off of.

This weekend I went to an REI garage sale and picked up a Tepui Ayer SKY 2 tent (retail $925.95) for just $475.00! It was used one night and returned because they wanted something bigger. It looks and smells like new. I can't wait to get it out on my adventure...

I have thought about using a utility bed as a starting point for a trailer build as well. Do you know how heavy the utility bed is?
