    Awesome tire deflator

Just got this in today and tested it out. Why didn't they make this from the beginning?? It clamps on instead of having to be screwed on, which was super annoying when freezing outside.

    Sedona AZ trip

Doing a quick 4 day trip to sedona in a few days. My mom and her BF decided they want to go. They have a rubicon with a 22' trailer, but stock wheels and tires, so limited on where they can go and camp. I'm camping on the trails. This will be exciting! I've been there many times before, but...

    Smoker

Does anyone else bring a small smoker when you overland? I bring this little Chargriller Akorn Jr. It's quite small, about a 14" grill. It's only enough for a small family at most. I could fit about 5 chicken thighs, or 3 good size steaks, or a Cornish game hen. But i love bringing this...

Beginning of October, my friends and I are planning a week long trip to Mammoth. Jeep JL (38s) Jeep JT (33s) Heel JL (33s) Toyota 4runner (33s) Toyota Prado (33s) So offroad trails are sort of limited. Any cool trails I should check out? We have no idea where to go haha! We usually just...

    Black bear pass

I'm going to Colorado in October (anyone's welcome to join), and one of our stops is black bear pass. Is there any other really cool spots we should check out while in the area? I love technical trails, but our weakest link will be a 2023 4runner on 33s and rear lockers.

Best way to mount a solar panel to freedom tops?

I want to mount a panel to my jeeps freedom tops, probably not permanently, something that will not be blown off, but something that can be removed when not camping. Any ideas? 100 watt panel seems the appropriate size. When I go camping, I use 2 large Plano cases so mounting to the rack won't work.

    Light pod advice

Hello, I'm looking for some advice/knowledge. I ordered 2 light pods and 2 pigtails. I want to wire them directly to an aux switch. Will the pigtail be enough or do I need an entire harness with switch and relay? I believe the aux switch has power and relay already wired, so so could some...

For those with lights on rear of roofrack

I want to get amber lights on my roofrack, at the rear as chase lights. I'm wondering if 10' is enough.

No overlanding for a long time

I just received a new heart, and it was extremely rough! Because my chest was cut open, it will be a long recovery, and can't even sit up front of the vehicle for months. Small bumps hurt, so I'd imagine no offroading for a long time. Sad because I planned a cool seqioua trip with my wife, my...

Need some overlanding suggestings near sequoia

I want to take my fiance to see the huge trees, as she's never been before. What are some good overlanding areas we can camp at, and still be somewhat close by to the park?

    Overlanding near sequoia

In a few weeks, I'll be heading towards sequoia. Anyone know of some good camping spots, away from campgrounds? Preferably with no one around? I was pointed towards the north side of sequoia.

    Not new, but new vehicle

My 2016 wrangler was rear ended by a Silverado and was totalled. Was bummed out. But used the insurance money on a down payment on a 'new to me' 2021 wrangler turbo diesel. Came with a bunch of stuff. Tailgate folding table. Gmsr antenna. Roofrack. Tailgate reinforcement. Banks derringer/super...

    Very bad day

Jeep died, I don't know how it happened or what this even means. Called my uncle and he says it's fucked and likely they will replace it. Does that mean I lose all my aftermarket parts?

    Damaged my tie rod

Did a little big pf rock crawling and now my sterring is off. Is the tie rod easy to install myself? Any recommendations on a decent priced tie rod? Not trying to spend a lot right now.

Do you keep a knife or hatchet/axe in your rig?

I usually keep a camp knife or hatchet in the back of my jeep, maybe several I find a knife easiest to split wood, by batoning it, takes much less space than a wood splitting axe, and I can use it to cut food.

    Looking for a new battery

My current battery (jackery 500) will shut off if it doesn't send out more than 10 watts for a few hours, my fridge can drop to 1 watt for hours, hence the battery shutting off. Is there a battery that will keep my fridge on indefinitely?

    Need recommendations for propane stove

I've been using a small portable butane stove, but it seems I need to upgrade to a slightly larger stove, one that uses the small propane bottles. Any decent stoves that aren't too expensive?

    Difficulty in finding a fridge

I've been looking for a portable fridge that is small, but havent found any that would fit behind my passenger seat. I have found 1, but is about 3 to 4 times the price of similar capacity. The largest it could be would 18" by 13", height not being so important. It is the only spot I have...

I want to hook up a solar panel

so last night my battery died on my jeep. So I got an AGM battery this morning and was thinking how bad it could of been had I been out exploring on my own. I was thinking of mounting a solar panel on my hardtop, and run the wire somehow to my battery, with some kind of controller in between...

    Rotopax leaking already

I got a rotopax 2 gallon fuel container, mounted on my roofrack, and noticed it is already leaking. It was purchased through amazon and past the 30 day return by a week. I have a trip in 2 days, and was hoping to have extra fuel for the trip.
