If you have it inside a vehicle having some vent shades on the windows with the windows slightly lowered will keep the interior 20 to 30 degrees cooler and help the fridge also.
Camping for 6 decades I am naturally drawn to the old ways of doing things and enjoying reliving the good old days. I am also glad that new people are reconnecting with nature and learning what most of us have always known. Nature rejuvenates us all. ONe of my favorite songs is 3 Dog Nights OUt...
There is a similar sized IH dual cab with a flat bed near me that has been sitting for sale for a few months. In the back of my mind I thought it could pack any size pickup camper with ease or be great for a custom build. Oh the possibiloties.
I wish Honda would do something like they did on their ATVs for years without a transfer case. They would put a super deep 1st gear in them so you could still climb stuff but at a slower speed.

Everyone should join the Blue Ribbon Coalition. I am a lifetime member and the government has really accelerated trail restrictions since the mid 90s. Lets keep the trails open and enjoy them responsibly.
JUst found this site and all the good info it has. I have been camping/overlanding with my dad and myself for 50+ years. I have built several riggs for overlanding and still have many of them. My current Rigg is a 2022 power wagon but have many older jeeps and Dodge vehicles. some for SUV solo...
