Great to know about the Mr. Buddy. I’m probably gonna be in the market for one in the coming months.

@MarioT'sCJResto hello and thank you! I love the growler! It’s more than enough LP for me and my partner and it’s footprint is minimal. The carry case is very convenient and durable. It’s so much cheaper than the little Coleman canisters.

    Subaru Forester Build

Got my new cooler. Had a RTIC 20 hard cooler (sold it to buy this one) and currently own their soft cooler. I’ve been impressed with the quality and how well these products have kept ice on my trips. They are substantially cheaper than YETI and yet a mirror image (as RTIC’s motto exclaims). This...

Found the right set up for the scangauge II. Went with the Wits End bracket and RAM mount size B ball with 1/4” thread, 3”tough track, the smallest clamp bar they offer. It’s definitely a pricy setup, but after looking at alternatives and running through the process of making my own, I decided I...

Completed the recovery board bracket system today. Happy with the outcome thus far. We’ll see how well it holds after trail use. I think I’ll revisit the rear base plates. I used 1/8” steel, but in hindsight 1/4” would be better. I can see them bending some already. I don’t hear additional wind...

The Black Rhino Rims I run have a +5 offset and I can fit 225/65. Eventually I’d like to go to 235/65. Pearl Blue is awesome, I almost got silver when I was shopping. Silver would have helped with scratches but the blue is unique and I got a better package with this color.

I drove 36k on the stock Bridgestone tires before new rims and tires. You paid for them so you got to drive them down, haha.

I suppose the only reason to upgrade rims would be for load ratings? I wonder if 235/65 might work? Are the stock rims still 18” on the newer Foresters?

Sorry for some reason I thought I read 2019 and not 2017. The 2017 forester will not fit rims smaller than 17” without changing the brakes. I can assure you that’s going to be way too expensive.

US Southwest Winter Road trip: TX to CA

@USStrongman @spazegun2213 Well it's with a heavy heart I will be postponing this expedition. My mother (whom I was helping move) has tested positive for C-19 and is experiencing powerful symptoms. If you would, please, put some positive vibes out to the universe, mates.

What is the vertical felt trim running along your windshield? Is that for window coverings?

It’s a very simple harness? All of it is plug and play. You just need to swap the turn signal bulb.
