    Nature Photos

ALERT: I'm sad to say that Snowy McFrosty didn't make home last night. He was found today in a drunken frozen state. The defrost unit has been called... His wife Chilly was heard saying; "Snowy said he didn't need no rig to go Overlanding. Just a good bottle of Irish whiskey.

    looking for an awning recommendation

I'm right there with you @tsteb112. I've been researching and hunting for options on the interweb. I know it's what the market can bare as to price but at some point you have to believe you can do it for much less. At this point I'm designing out what I'd like and use some of the left over...

    RTT mattress

If you're asking me about the new thickness of the mattress in the Magi, the 4 inch mattress does not cause any issues at all. I still can have the bedding and sleeping bag flat out along with the ladder, pillows (4 of them), and the solar panel store in it.

    RTT mattress

Understood.... Both my wife and I occasionally have issues with sciatica and found that even a 3" foam mattress didn't work. We even tried dog beds under our hips along with folding up a sleeping bag for thickness. LOL :tonguewink: Since we use a Maggiolina, we didn't want to feel the...

    RTT mattress

We had the same issue with the original RTT mattress. Went to a fabric store/warehouse and got a 4" foam. 3" extra firm with 1" firm layer on top. The store did all the glueing. We ordered a mattress cover and new sheets online. The top sheet we got the a fitted bottom version for convenience...

Reno Overlanding First Meet Up and Planning Session - 03/28/2018

Just wanted to send out a "be careful out there" to all the Reno/Carson and other vicinities around the foothills and mountains. Stay safe, be cautious, and definitely use 4 wheel drive when you venture out.

OB Approved Overland Safety: Fire Extinguishers

Great thought. It's always good to be knowledgeable and prepared with any equipment that is used, especially that that isn't used often.
