Thanks a TON! I tried putting them on like yours are pictured and I was having trouble getting them in place so I figured I was doing it wrong.
The H beams are currently facing the tires now unlike the photo in my post. I had flipped them around after noticing how close the H beam was to...
I installed new rear rotors to see if that would stop my brake squeak issue. I doubt it will help but for $50 it's worth a shot. Install took maybe 30min. Very simple.
I also installed a set of Wulf 2"-3" lift shackles and removed my AAL. I won't be loading down the bed as heavy as I have been...

My wife and 13yr old decided they don't want to do long trips in my truck anymore. It's not comfortable for them and they feel it's too cramped, especially the back seat. She's considering trading in her '17 CRV for a 4Runner now. It's a win for me. Truck and 4Runner. Woot!
Ohh opps. Forgot you have a Colorado. :)
The skid will fit flush on a truck without a body lift. Mine has a gap because of the lift and I haven't gotten around to bending the top of the skid to make it touch the bumper.

I have the DV8 Offroad version. I like the looks of it more and it is less expensive.

Note, V6 trucks equipped with active grill shutters will need to trim the lower shutters to get a winch to...
Looks good man!
If the lights are not labeled they are probably generics. That's not a bad thing if they are. It just means the higher end lights will be brighter should decide to upgrade at some point.
It's not an excuse when it's the truth. That model isn't the best offroad platform and you would have had to sink a bunch of basically unrecoverable money into mods to even come close to the new rig. With the mods come inevitable headaches. You now have a solid performer right out of the box. I...
Pretty much whatever you want. There are "PIDS" for specfic models of vehicle so you can read specfic functions so there can be a little extra work involved but nothing difficult. They have a free version you can try but you'll still need a bluetooth adapter. The generic one most of us use is...
Go Team Redneck Fabrication! I'm more impressed by that than one of those expensive units.
Does it latch down in the back so it doesn't bounce up on the trail?
