@Tek, If you have not logged in over the past week or so, try logging out and back in. There was a caching issue with the server settings and people were getting logged in as not themselves for a few days. It i fixed now (we hope!), but might be some residual effect on people who only log in...
I don't even know if it will be this year. It seems to be another busy summer with family stuff. Both Deb's and my mothers are in their late 80s, and are three hours away. So we need to go there more and more. Daughter is home for the summer (she was going to be a camp staff, but that fell...
Nice! Baja are always special. Subaru enthusiast here, too. Although I just sold my last one. I sold my 2002 Bugeye WRX 5MT Wagon that I bought new, last summer, and transport is picking up my 2008 Outback XT 5MT that I also bought new, tomorrow or Friday. Maybe we'll get another somewhere down...
I don't know many folks up near Rushylvania, and Jones doesn't sound familiar. The family farm was on the SE side of Bellefontaine, and now is right on the edge of town.
Not much to explore. Indian Lake is interesting, with the cottages out on all the islands. The back roads along the Madriver...
@Gunnermoose Yes, I saw that there were monthly plans, but I couldn't see if this was something you could turn on and off. Similar to the AT&T plan for cellular on my iPad; I can only turn it on for when I want, but it costs more per month, and there's a charge associated with each activation. I...
@Gunnermoose Can an InReach subscription be toggled off an on as needed? I'd only have a use for it a few times a year for a few days to six weeks. Other than those times, I wouldn't want to have to pay for not using it.
Thanks, but it is very, very mild compared to most 4Runner builds. If I lived close to somewhere that I could go out exploring often, I'd be doing a *lot* more modifications!
HI Malcolm!
Nope, no rubbing whatsoever. I haven't had mine off road yet, but there are plenty of threads over on T4R.org with confirmation of no rubbing. I was back and forth between the 275 E rated and the 265 C rated tires. I'm very pleased with my decision. I keep them at 35 PSI so far. And...
Here's how: http://overlandbound.com/forums/threads/add-your-member-number-to-your-profile-card.944/
And when @Michael gets back from his Australian business trip, he'll toggle on your "Member" banner, as well.
Thanks for joining!
[EDIT] Ah! I see @Daniel Etter already linked the FAQ page for...
And today I permanently wired my SiriusXM Sportster 5 radio. I moved the AUX and USB outlets behind the cubby and drilled through the back to feed the wires. I'm using this instead of the built in XM radio because I have a lifetime subscription for the Sportster.
I finally applied my emblem #0202 on the 4Runner. The paint is the same back w/blue metallic as my Outback was, so it looks pretty much the same as it has for a year, except everything is clean.
Ah, there you can tell it's the 4Runner!
