Tackled Strawberry Pass Trail today. I was very happy with how the truck performed in general. The tires let me down twice while perched on rocks which caused the truck to slide way off line and smash down on rocks which scratched the driveshaft and rear diff on one occassion. If not for those 2...
I'm still annoyed by the front end or steering rattle I hear and feel when off-road. I've searched and searched but cannot find the source. I noticed our work Canyon is now starting to do it too. So a bit of research on other forums found that there is a similar problem on Silverados stemming...
Have you tried cross comparing specs with the Dorman stud catalog? Sometimes you'll find that another vehicle has the same or similar enough specs. For example, we found that the newer Camaro has the same wheel stud spec as the 2nd Gen Colorado/Canyon and the Ford F250 has nearly identical specs...

But you're right. I try to get my pup to do the work for me. lol
Thanks mate! I'll try to find the pic where I mounted a goat skull and horns on the hood. The Prius didn't have enough HP to run a set of cattle horns. lol
If the draw is less than 30a without the humidifier then a cheap option would include an $8 trailer harness to cigarette lighter adapter and a $40 pure sine wave inverter. I use this setup to run a hand blender and charge our ebikes while camping.
I would envision a quality inverter and good high capacity battery or a dual battery setup is all you need. Sorta like running a fridge no? If I don't stop snoring my wife is going to make me get one so I'll find out soon I reckon. lol
LOL mine was the opposite. I lowered it and ran 17" Centerline wheels. It was terrible off-road but handled well on-road and still got 48mpg hauling land management gear. Nothing quite like watching a rancher drive by slowly in his F250 to watch you repairing a fence out of the back of a Prius...
