@maktruk I don't have one, but I really like the Outback Swag line. But these are really more one-man tents than true bivy sacks, which are barely more than a waterproof sleeping bag with a hoop over your face.

Oh, I completely understand and agree! I was a draftsman, then new product designer for Rockwell Power Tools (now Delta) and then RIDGID pipe working equipment for 36 years. In both cases a lot of time and money was spent in litigation against patent infringement.
The ARB awning slot spacing is about 1-7/8" center to center. I used a Foxwing mount for my ARB awning and drilled an extra hole for the appropriate spacing.

Are you really after the "best tent" as your title suggests, or the best bang for the buck, best tent under $XXX, etc.? There are several really nice tents out there well over $1000, and really nice, usable ones under $100.
