Overland Expo 2017 West FREE TIX

@Cavo, I'm sorry to read about your misfortune, but I'm glad your generosity has born fruit, and another member gets to enjoy the Expo. This is a perfect example of the tenets of Overland Bound. Thank you, sir!

    Overland Ram Mount Solutions

I ordered every piece yesterday from GPSCity. The only thing I did different was to swap out the smaller X-Grip for a 1" ball to Garmin G-Ball adaptor to hang my 7" Garmin GPS where you have the HAM radio. Thanks for the information and links! BTW, what's the circular velcro support that you...

Should we have a regional For Sale section?

Winner!! Oddly, almost every forum I'm on does not have regional for sale ads, and the mods are always moving them to the for sale forum when people do post in the regions. You don't have a poll option for No. ;) Like Boort says, if they are all compartmentalized into the separate regions, I...

    PANTS

Duluth Trading Post Fire Hose Work Pants: https://goo.gl/kks4t5 "Tougher than an angry beaver" I have three pairs; one on me, one in the laundry, and one to change into. Constant rotation, as they're all I wear. (Well, it's not *all* I wear. That would be inappropriate, but you get my point...)

2017 Forester XT: Tiny overlander with big dreams

That's exactly what I did, both with the Outback and then the 4Runner. Worked like a charm. I find it funny that your photos, just like every one of mine with the awning deployed, have sunshine under the awning itself, and the shade way off yonder. :) Gotta get that good evening light.

Just picked up a trd 4runner in nj

Welcome! Before you start major modifications, try it out for a while stock. The TRD (formerly Trail Edition) is extremely capable out of the box. After you drive it and find shortcomings, then you'll know what needs improved.

Hiker Trailer - anyone have experience with them? (Now Buildout)

Ah! That was you Randy. I see that you found my post on Facebook. I thought it was some random person suggesting a Hiker. :) As I said on Facebook, I just wrote Wes a way too long email asking a ton of questions. There is *very* little information on the Hiker Mid-Grade trailer. The web site is...

Hiker Trailer - anyone have experience with them? (Now Buildout)

Yep, I know about this one, and tried joining to learn more, see what modifications people are doing, and ask questions. You know; potential customer stuff. Nope, owners or on-order only. I just sent off a way too long email to Wes. :) And there's a lot of response to my rant on my Facebook...
