    Question for the Subaru owners

I don't know about the tranny problems, as both of mine were manual. That's fairly low mileage (well, not for me, but for normal. My 2002 WRX Wagon had 37k when I sold it in 2016.) Still, it'll likely sneed shocks and bushing replaced, although that's cheap and easy. Head gasket problems are...

    Group Buys

Sorta. Yesterday Michael just announced the "Gear we use" section, where Members can buy gear that the OB #0000 rig has used, tested, and made arrangements for purchase. Look for more items in the future. https://store.overlandbound.com/collections/gear-we-use But if you are talking about...

    Trophies, Badges, and Ranks!

Happy to help! You would post the information related to the requested badge on the form that pops up when you click on the "Request Validation" button. But please note the requirements for the Influencer III trophy: "You've also had a verified post on Instagram with a picture of your emblem in...

    Trophies, Badges, and Ranks!

Many of the trophies are automated, such as number of posts, likes, trail uploads, boot camp, etc. As soon as you meet the requirement it should be awarded. Those that are not should have a "Submit Request" button beside them. Carefully look at the requirements and see that you meet all of them...

    Member Map Issue

Chris, when I look, I see you downtown, near East Broad and Cleveland. I found you by turning off all pins except Founder 500 in the filters. It used to be easy to find your own pin, because it was larger and red, but that changed for some reason. @Michael has it set to randomly show you within...

    Camp stoves

Digging out my old gear to load the Hiker Trailer. I bought this Coleman 425 stove (425F499) 37 years ago, and it still works perfectly. It stores in its original box (which is a little worse for wear) so it still looks nearly new.

    SnoMaster vs National Luna comparison

I bought a National Lune 90 Twin, not because I needed the size, but because I got it at a price I couldn't turn down. Yes, it is huge, and required a huge slide. Takes up exactly half of the 4Runner's rear cargo area! But, wow, is it nice!!

So, why'd you buy the overland vehicle you did?

I got the 4Runner, because it was $40,000 less than the Land Cruiser that I really wanted.

Adventure fishing...put your pic where your mouth is...no tall tails here

Here's me with an alligator gar, caught in Mississippi in the 1950s. :) I also have a photo from the '70s of a nurse shark that I caught. I'll see if I can find the snapshot and scan it.

    Photography

Ah! Using the paranoid as a reverse support of sorts, keeping the lens pointed at the same vertical angle. Gotcha! Much like a sling on a rifle. I thought you were using it for some sort of indexing during rotation or something similar. I always have my tripod in the vehicle when I'm out, which...
