I love photographing all sorts of old, abandoned things. There are some shots of an amazing train museum north of Vancouver BC on my Flickr (www.poutous.com).
I'm super happy with my KO2s. Before that I had the KOs and they were great, too. I do miss the old school KO sidewall pattern even though the 2s are more advanced.
I've run the KOs on a few vehicles in the past, an Xterra, a '90 F150.
These ones are the cookie cutters.. BFG AT KO2 235/85r16s...
Second on that one.. the other benefit is that you don't have the gurgle of a partially empty (half full, optimist) water tank in the back of the vehicle. I hate that racket.
A lifetime ago (2014) I had this 1963 C10 pickup. I did a 9 day roadtrip through California.. hauling a 2005 Stella 2-stroke scooter and my bicycle.
One camp night on that trip I was chased out of the bed of the truck by corgi sized raccoons (El Capitan State Beach).

Thankfully they had the good manners...

I try to remember to tie a strap on the plate.. that way I can find it and pull it out. This time I didn't... buried in sand once the Colorado was free.
There was an interesting IG post by one of the northern National Parks the other day talking about being bear safe. They stated that you don't need to hang your food, you simply have to have it in a locking (bear-proof) container, 50 feet away from where you are going to sleep.
EDIT: here is...
Next month my girlfriend and I will be off to Canada. We are spending time in Vancouver, then heading north to Squamish for a couple of days.
We are renting a Jeep (99% sure it's 2WD) for the whole trip..
Any cakewalk trails in the area we should check out?
Hope no one minds the approximately...
The Shafer Trail from the Island in the Sky ranger station in Canyonlands NP leads all the way back to Moab. It's a fun road that follows the Colorado River.
Very 2WDable. About 30 or so miles. Ask the rangers to describe the route.
Island in the Sky Rd, Moab, UT 84532...
