Now for some installed photos. Switch lights when on. S8 in the grille, S2 in the hatch. Impressions I am very pleased with the outcome of the light installation. It covers all of the requirements for my install, and the light output is awesome. This is the perfect addition to the...

Under the driver’s side door trim. And through the firewall grommet I used for the grille light bar install using the same copper pull wire technique. Once in the engine bay, I pulled enough wiring through plus 12” to reach the battery. I then cut and installed the same Flexo wrap used in...

Seems many people have rear facing lights on their roof racks, which are great for lighting pretty much everything behind you... Unless you have the hatch open. To solve this, I installed a Baja Designs S2 Pro LED light in the driver side hand hold of the hatch. I first took a look at the specs...

Thanks! I tend to like to put sticker on my things, but after a while window stickers can look pretty tacky, so I hid them :tonguewink:

We then moved on to the obstacle course area where v_man found some rocks, a rock found Andy's valve stem, I made a lot of noise learning the concrete steps, we found a group of 3rd gens with bigger tires than v_man, and dog had no idea how to not slide around both in and out of the kennel...

This weekend I went with v_man and jAndyMendo (Expo) to Hollister Hills SVRA in Hollister, CA. We wanted to have a fun day to cruise the trails, and see what our rigs were capable of. v_man has his very well built 1990 4Runner, and jAndyMendo with his 2014 Tacoma TRD OR. Both with sliders, lifts...

Now for some comparisons. Low beam HID’s and LED fogs. Low beam HID’s, fogs and the S8 LED bar. Definitely a drastic improvement, and exactly what I was looking for. Some head on shots. I am very pleased with the performance of the 20” S8. It accomplished exactly what I was looking...

Switch harness wired up to lighting harness. After testing the wires, I wired switch black to harness black, switch red to harness blue, switch green to harness red. This turns on the light when the button is in the on position, and also turns the ‘lights’ indicator on the switch when the light...

I have been wanting to add some extra fire power to the lighting arsenal of the 4Runner for a while. After the HID install, I found that the stock halogen high beams didn’t really match the low beam output, or color. And I no longer had the function of being able to ‘flash’ my high beams to be...

Steve’s 2016 Toyota 4Runner Modification and Adventure Thread

Awesome man! I remember you just going to sit in one shortly after I started posting mine here on OB. Sitting leads to buying when it comes to these things, it's almost a disease. The next symptom when you get it is that you're bank account will start getting sick and throwing up money in the...

That's about all of them far as I can tell! No worries, she's my baby, but I'm not naive about things happening haha. I am just glad it's in a place where I will NEVER see it! haha. Otherwise I'd be losing some shit. I wish I could help with the valence, because that would mean I was getting a...

The ladder is indeed awesome! Need the roof rack to complete the transformation! Only bummer is that I noticed due to my use of the fasteners (which work great, by the way) and because they're thicker than the standard adhesive, the hatch mount has rubbed against the roof sheet metal in one...

That was an option, and hind sight, I think that would have been the way to go. If I was just doing the rear differential, the way I approached it would have worked perfectly, but with the E-locker and me wanting to run a separate line for it, I should have gone with the ARB. Live and learn!
