    Coffee Percolators

I've been using the Folger's coffee bags for years. Picked some up for backpacking to start. Can't beat it for space savings and the flavor is tolerably good. I have Keurigs, french presses, peculators, you name it. I like my coffee and the coffee bags are hard to beat and so convenient for...

I'm registered and planning to head that way from S.C. on about the 14th. Hope I can see and learn some neat stuff.

Does any one have a zero generator and solar panel unit

Bought a Goal Zero 1000, Double solar panels, CSI Black Ice Ref./Freezer and 2200 Inverter generator for extended off-grid camping. Now I'm too broke to go anywhere. Actually, I have tried it a few times and everything seems too meet all expectations. Freezer pulls 1.5-2.5 amps. I was using...

    Has overlanding become elitist ?

LOL! I remember getting mistaken for Jed Clampett's rig in the past. You go with what you got! I still tend to take more stuff than I need but I'd rather have it and not need it. I'm working up to extended off-grid excursions. Looking at things from a weight vs. need standpoint.

Member Introductions *NEW MEMBERS INTRODUCE YOURSELF*

Hello everyone! I'm here in mid-state South Carolina in the heat and humidity. I was up on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday in the clouds and it was nice. I had to take my new RTT for it's first test run and things went well. I got to scout some fishing spots for when the crowds (school starts...
