I like my car dirty but at the same time clean lol the inside is always pretty clean and vacuumed but we will go a few weeks with mud and debris on it but then I have to break down and wash it [emoji12]
I had Toyo open country at 2’s before and loved them. I squeezed like 50k miles out of them! On my Xterra I ran a set of Kenda Klever AT’s and they were awesome too. Was thinking about trying their Klever MT, cheap and good reviews! I really dig Coopers line up too. Need to keep it somewhat...
I’ve read good things about both. Our car sits a lot as we work from home and most driving is just to town for errands or messing around on the trails. Not sure which AT or MT I’ll go with next.
Thinking about ordering a front winch and some MaxTrax mats soon. Not sure if I want to mount them onto the spare tire like you often see or behind the spare on a separate holder. Also need to swap out a faulty O2 sensor that just went bad [emoji58]
Nice mate, I’m digging the front bumper lights. I have thought about doing a flush mount rear light somewhere. Just don’t have a lot of places left lol
Hey mate, sorry to hear about that. I know what you mean about no aftermarket support! I ended up getting my spacer lift from Russia. Had to do a bit of research but like my rig, your car may share similar strut mounts to other models? That is the one draw back sometimes about modding an...
I’m loving it! The more we see it the more I’m digging the look. All the other mods make much more sense now lol. I always thought the snorkel looked a bit odd being low but it flows good. I haven’t been off road yet but plan to get into the woods soon [emoji12]
With fender flares you’re still...
I got the lift completed this morning. Woke up early to finish up the front and bang out the rear, which went much smoother lol. Car feels great and handles really well. Pretty much same as stock did! I’m digging the lift, not too much but it’s definitely noticeable and will help a ton on some...
Well slap me silly. Finally got it. Literally required all my strength and some ingenuity. Once the weight settled the drive shaft lifts off back to normal. I’ll finish it up tomorrow as I literally spent all day on two spacers [emoji12]
So the passenger side drive shaft is longer then the drivers by almost a foot, so that must obviously count for something.... but yeah, this is my point of contact
Well.... what a waste of a day. Time to undo everything. Good thing I started with the fronts. Unless I’m a total moron, which has been proved once before, there is no way in hell this fits. The spacer gives the passenger drive shaft too much downward angle hitting the frame and the bottom of...
Well, hit a snag. Driver side went on smooth. Passenger side drive shaft hits the frame and won’t allow the lower arm/setup to bolt back onto the lower shock mounts [emoji58]
I’m not worried about that. The spacers don’t flex side to side or anything once it’s installed. I’ve ran aluminum ones on other vehicles and actually like plastic or rubber better. [emoji106]
