Epic build. I'm thinking along the same lines. I built my shell for the Tacoma, then sold the truck. Now I'd like to put it on a trailer like this.
Thanks for sharing this. It's amazing.

I fab'd up my radio console today in 23* weather like a idiot. LOL. This will sit on a wood platform I have already put together but need to finish sanding, priming and painting. Film at 11.

I'm going to drop in another usb port for charging also. Can never have too many charging ports. LOL
3/16" or even quarter inch. I think a hard snatch would pull the bolt right out of the boxed channel. To have a plate on the inside would prevent that I think. It's just a simple crossmember so you do need some support. I'm not a engineer, just a fabricator and welder, but I did stay at the...
I forgot to tell Rex I do have the antenna he posted above. I'm mounting my radios now (they were in my Tacoma before) and I just don't want to be changing the cables around out in the field.
thanks for the info. I appreciate it. And thanks to Rex too.

So that stubby one they sent with my radio in not any good? I have no idea and have never found anyone that can explain this whole system in english. LOL Most of the time I'm left with algebra calculations, a ruler and dictionary. LMAO

Depends on your wallet. In my opinion it's got to look cool even if it has crappy working equipment, parts and pieces. If you have the money, then you can replace those parts, pieces. Simple as that.
I loved the Tacoma because of the way it looked, however it sucked for several reasons I won't...
I'm subscribed. I want one of those fat ones they use in Australia and mount on the front bumper. Even if it's fake...ahahahhahahahhaha. Just kidding, call off the dogs, simma down now. LOL

They do make those. $125 I think
Welcome to here. I'm excited for ya. Now let's get to work. LOL.
My best man at my wedding was a Master Diver! I come from a EOD/Diver community. How cool is that?

Epic build. I'm thinking of making a trailer for my Tacoma shell I made to sit on. I'll have to do some widening and other dance arounds but your's is a inspiration.

Nice pics. I have passed on buying (another) tube bender. I'm 65 and don't have many bends left in my life...lmao. I like that Southern style. Simple, effective and cool. I could bend 2 of those up a day and make some money but that's a lot of work and I'm ready to see more country.
Can't wait...
I can handle the weight, just not the price tag...ahahahahahaha. I just ordered a Westin HDX without the bumper part and will make my own. Took 3 months to make that decision. I just could not justify a $300 1.25" die for a tube bender just to fold up 2 tubes around the headlight. So I bought...
National Ski Patrol offers a "Outdoor Emergency Care" program. You do not have to be a expert skier to participate in the National Ski Patrol. I went through the program in the mid 90's.
If your wife is a nurse she already has the skills to stabilize an injured person/s the next move would be...
Bad news is I've been to the emergency room 3 times for metal in my eye, good news is I had on safety glasses all 3 times. LOL. Now, having said that, a face shield is highly recommended when grinding.
I now wear wrap around style glasses as opposed to the old school grandfather government...
