What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Not happy yet. I lost the directions that tell you what app to download and it's no where on the internet. No where. LOL. So, I downloaded app's until I found on that worked. It's a little "buffering" and shaky but it was toward the end of the day. I'll let you all know later but for $21 it's...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Really tired after this exhausting install of my front facing cam. Two zip ties and three sips of coffee and done. LOL. Works okay but the APP needs help. Zim

    Question about bumper with wintch

In my opinion, any winch should be connected in some way to the vehicle frame. A steel or aluminum bumper just is not enough to withstand 5-10k of force static or dynamic. Tow hooks welded to a bumper scare me too. After twenty years in the navy I've seen many parted wire/hawser/rope/chain/strap...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Brush guard came yesterday at 3pm, had in on by 6. Heavy and wore my ass out. I don't turn wrenches at 100 hours a week anymore. LOL Now I've got to build a bumper around it. Ice storm was a little one but its still 17 this morning. Zim

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Sorry for the late reply but just got out from under the truck. Took 3 hours to put on a 260 lb brush guard and I'm hurtin. LOL. Tool old for this. I really don't know and I'm going to go look. Ah nope raining. ahahahahha. It's a 50watt deal I think. MTX 400 $399 now. Have not used it much as I...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Took most of the morning to wire this thing before we headed to the lake. Needed to get out of the house and it was worth it. Until the wind picked up to 400mph. LMAO. Nice ride on some back roads and always enjoy the pure beauty of Missouri. Here it is in the car, and ready to get hooked to the...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

You actually won't believe this, but this design takes out my dual cup holder down below on the F250. So.....................I had to make this as small as possible to allow for a cup holder on the navigator side...ahahahahahha. Have to order one now. The things we have to deal with right? Zim

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Thank you. Yeah the Taco is tight too. I made a back seat setup when I had my Tacoma and it worked okay for the time I had it. The GMRS ended up in the hole below the radio which was a pain in the ass to do. The CB (rarely used) went in the back. Zim

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Me too. LOL. I set it in the truck yesterday and was not real excited about it, but this truck has little or no room for this stuff, and it's a F250...lmao. It will do but the middle seat console is really nice and we're keeping it so room in the middle is at a premium.. Thanks Zim

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Got the base of my radio stack painted and the metal stack holder. Had a run in the paint because 36* LOL. Got in a hurry. Tired of working in freezing weather. Zim That crease is made with a bead roller because the CB is narrower than the GMRS. After doing that I still had to use...

Share how it all started - Homage to the beginnings - Your story is welcome here!

Well, in 1970 my dad took me to the Charles County Fair, Maryland. We were walking around the fair and off in the distance I saw 3 trucks lined up and some Forest Service guys standing around. I was hooked. They were all 49-50 Dodge power wagons, brush fire trucks. I thought that was the coolest...
