If you are on geocaching.com look up GPLAMY’s Trading post. It is a nice run up to the top of the trail. Several camping spot are near by and if you like you can loop around and come out at Lower Bear Reservoir.

I am thinking of going camping then I saw the review of Plummer Ridge and Baltic Ridge trail run that someone just ran a few weeks back. Anyone interested in running this trail in a day or making it a 2 day trip...
